Amherst College Event Ideas

• Dodgeball, Whiffle Ball, Kickball.
  
  
• Entrepreneurs Club donating some of their profits to Educate! and being able to say money is going to Educate!, a very big organization on campus.
  
  
• Some sort of bike ride or other sponsored event in the spring. This is very good for getting potention donor names and addresses
  
  
• Amherst Club members get in clusters (maybe three or four) and raise money for an individual student. Makes it more of a campaign and creates personal motiviation for each student in cluster. Basically setting up mini clubs at Amherst with the students.
  
  
• More research and articles into Uganda, education, refugees, topics pertinent to Educate!
  
  
• Newsletter - send out in november
  
  
• Continuing to contact prep schools and looking for prep school contacts
  
  
• Looking into doctor's organizations sponsoring future medical students.
  
  
• publicity/press release. Reaching out to local newspaper in pioneer valley.
  
  
• Finding other people and organizations doing similar things in Uganda and Rwanda
  
  
• wristbands - with something like Educate! the world and our website
  
  
• calling donors under a new campaign (will def need to hold off but could be done in spring)
  
  
• Events and major publicity at homecoming and parents weekend. Big signs, brochures, anything. Could we show the documentary at homecoming? Could be an amazing event.
