Basics and Tips
- The
hardest part of getting a donation is asking.
- You
will never get a donation if you don't ask!
- It
is very important who asks for the donation
- it should always be the person closest to the
donor.
- Always
try to present the story of who you are helping.
- Create
a lot
of publicity for your events - and make a lot of
noise about it. Talk to your friends about it, put
posters up, make sure everyone at least knows of
what you're doing.
- If
you show people you really care about the cause,
they will be more inclined to support you.
- Be
able to tell people where exactly their money will
go - and how much everything costs for the student.
- Make
sure to always make big posters and banners to have
at your event or fundraiser - a giant Educate!
banner at a bake sale will definitely attract lost
of attention.
