Longin Jackson

Longin (right) with fellow Educate! student Edward Guma

Longin became an Educate! student in 2004 and just turned 21. He grew up and attended primary school in the Congo but had to flee when he was twelve. His family fled to Uganda but returned to the Congo only several days later. A week after he returned home, the armed forces came into his home, killing his mother and eldest brother. Longin then again fled to Uganda, this time by himself, and still does not know of the whereabouts of his father.

A Jehovah's Witness, Longin attends KOB Institute in Hoima, Uganda. He enjoys playing volleyball and soccer and hopes to become a doctor in the future.
